The champions make it four |
by Mark Woodburn
We've got four French teams in the draw for the fourth round of the Challenge Cup as Lézignan joined Toulouse and Limoux in winning their third round tie while the Dragons will join the fun along with the other 13 Super League sides.

| Grizzlies roar into fourth round |
Someone could be making the trip to the picturesque l'Aiguille |
Limoux cruised to a comfortable win over London Skolars at the New River Stadium, sealing their passage into round four of the Challenge Cup. Here, our reporter Chris Plume reviews the action. |

| Toulouse progress at Cougars expense |
 Outstanding |
Toulouse progress in the Challenge Cup and go into the hat for the fourth round and a potential Super League clash after emerging victorious in a hard-fought game at Keighley. For the most part, Olympique were in control, but poor discipline and occasional lapses kept Keighley in with a chance until Rory Bromley's late try won it.

| Walters survives, but McRae on the brink |
 Safe. For now |
If you're going to be given one game to save your job as head coach of a Super League side, then you'd pick Salford for that game to be against. And so it worked out for Kevin Walters as his Dragons side emerged victorious at The Willows, but not until after a pretty shoddy first half that must have had him worried.

 Finally... |
Just two sides remain winless after four rounds of Super League football and in round five, they go head-to-head. The Willows - for it is there we're going - has been an unhappy hunting ground for the Dragons down the years. Two nillings in a row, one of them the Worst Match In Super League Ever™, are best forgotten, but the sequence ended last time round despite Thomas Bosc's injury and Dane Carlaw ending up the least likely try-scoring winger ever. Coming off the back of last week's horror show, how will the side react?

Sébastien Raguin playing for TO in the Challenge Cup |
This is traditionally an exciting time for French sides, as they enter the Challenge Cup third round at a far more advanced stage of their season than some Championship and Championship 2 sides that will still be getting into their stride. The representatives of the LER this year are champions Lézignan and beaten finalists Limoux. Toulouse also join in at this stage, round 3 of the competition.
We'll have reporters at all three games and our writers preview the weekend here |

 Better start than 2009 |
Toulouse kicked off their 2010 Championship campaign with a victory at home over the promoted Dewsbury Rams. The game swung to and fro before late tries to Rory Bromley and Sébastien Planas secured the three points.

 A pat, yesterday |
Where to begin? This was a real horror show. Ten tries, half of them scored by Pat Richards, who also added nine goals to end with 38 points of his own, were run in past a disorganised, sluggish, disinterested Dragons defence. Such that you can call it a defence. So easy did the Dragons make it, Wigan weren't stretched at all as they gave the Dragons the beating of a lifetime.

 Fauré forfait |
by Mark Hall
The season starts again for Olympique on Sunday with a home tie against promoted Dewsbury Rams. Although they say there is a gap between the two Championship leagues, Dewsbury will be no pushovers, having gone up with a 100% record, 16 from 16, and a shrewd coach in Warren Jowitt.
Here we preview the action. |

| Wigan gluepot provides next challenge |
"Dear Lord, make him pick me" |
It's top versus bottom on the gluepot pitch at the DW Stadium on Friday night. The Dragons and Wigan have almost perfect mirror-image records after three rounds of football - sadly it's Wigan who have the good one. Everything the clubs do seems opposite. Wigan were involved in a thriller against Warrington a week ago and snuck a two-point win while the Dragons were copping a beating from St Helens and while Wigan welcome players back for this one, the Dragons have another suspension to worry about.

| An Englishman in Toulouse |
Crusaders loss is TO's gain |
by Nikki Hall
When we had reporters down in Limoux to cover the pre-season friendly, we took the chance to have a chat with new loan signing Simon Worrall. Simon joins from the Leeds Rhinos and, once he'd worked out our interviewer was not actually French and instead lives just a few miles down the road in Leeds, we sat down for a chinwag. |
